welcome everyone Dr. Mandel here I want to share with you an elixir that can help you burn that belly fat as well as control your appetite.
Increased belly fat is directly related to high blood pressure, increased cholesterol, diabetes, increased sugar as well as many other diseases. I first want to talk about the healing medicinal properties of the lemon. It’s loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants. Which helps the body in multiple ways. It will improve your digestion as poor digestion is one of the main reasons for gaining fat and weight.
Lemon will help the liver to function properly as it secretes the digestive enzymes which help you stay healthy. It’s essential for the liver and the digestive system to function properly in order to lose that extra fat from that belly. When our digestive system runs slow it reduces the metabolism of the body and when digestion is poor we will gain weight. The citric acid found in lemons will help flush off those toxins that’s sticking around within your body and this will help stabilize any hormonal imbalance that would be affecting your metabolism.
Now chia seeds is a power-packed super food that can do wonders to help you burn fat they are loaded with antioxidants that fight the production of free radicals that can damage cell molecules and contribute to many other diseases. The chia seed is a low carb friendly food and almost all the carbs in them are fiber they are high in quality protein. Where they have a good balance of the essential amino acids, these chia seeds are a high quality protein much higher than most.
Plant foods protein is the most weight loss friendly macronutrient and can drastically reduce appetite and cravings. They are also very rehaan omega-3 fatty acids per gram for gram chia seeds contain more omega-3s than salmon. So I want to share my morning elixir with you. You’re going to drink this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach so you’re going to need one and half cups of water whatever preference you like room-temperature warm or cold. Squeeze the juice from 1/2 lemon. If you cannot have lemon use a half a line use one tablespoon of whole chia seeds and 1 TSP of raw honey. If you cannot have honey use stevia or monk fruit. Mix all the ingredients together let it rest for about ten to fifteen minutes. Stirring occasionally or until the chia seeds have formed the gel and now drink it up. Combining these together will help increase your metabolic rate this in hand will help burn more fat. Remember that there is no such thing as spot reduction the more calories your body burns than what’s taken in the more fat you’re going to lose. You must exercise, you must eat healthy, get your proper sleep, have a good attitude and keep moving forward.
