Aldi has launched a new range of cook-at-home McDonald’s style snacks costing just half the price of the fast food chain’s famous meals.

The new range, available now across the UK,  includes a 10 Breakfast Hash Browns and Snacksters Big Stack Burger.   

The supermarket is also selling a 12 Chicken Nuggets with Dips Box is just £1.69 for 300g and comes with two tasty dips; tangy Sweet Chilli and rich BBQ, all served in a McDonald’s style cardboard box.

Costing less than half of the McDonald’s alternative – and you also get more for your money, since McDonald’s 9 Chicken McNuggets, are £3.29, 150g. While most of the range is already in stores, the chicken nuggets will be available 24th May.

Also on the menu is Aldi Snacksters Big Stack Burger, (£1.49, 204g), layered with two tasty lean beef burgers, fresh crispy lettuce and creamy, flavoursome cheese.

It’s less than half the price of McDonald’s Big Mac Burger (£3.29 145g) – and bigger in size – available in stores now.

Elsewhere, the hash brown is 85 per cent cheaper than the McDonald’s price (McDonald’s Hash Brown £0.89 for 1, 56g).

It comes as McDonald’s delighted fans by bringing back the Bacon Clubhouse Double and the Chicken Deluxe for their summer menu.

The 667 treat is made from  two 100 per cent beef patties, two rashers of Beechwood smoked bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, onions, tomato, lettuce and Special Sauce in a golden brioche bun.

For those who prefer chicken, the fast food giant is also bringing back the Chicken Deluxe  burger for £4.39.

Made of two crunchy Chicken Selects layered with smooth Emmental cheese, lettuce, and red onions, it’s topped with a zesty tomato relish and cool mayo.

Other classic faves returning are those little balls of joy – Cheese and Herb Melts (£1.89) served with a rich tomato dip and the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry (£1.39) – back by popular demand. 

The ultimate chocolatey dessert made from soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Galaxy chocolate pieces and either a chocolate or smooth caramel sauce. Both available as a Mini McFlurry (£0.99).
