VOV.VN – On the afternoon of March 9, the Ministry of Health announced the 31st case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Vietnam, who boarded the same flight VN0054 from the UK to Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport with the 17th COVID-19 patient.
According to information from the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute, the 49-year-old new male patient is a UK citizen, had a positive test result with Covid-19. His sample was sent for testing by the Quang Nam Center for Disease Control.
Currently, the patient is undergoing treatment at Bac Quang Nam Hospital and in stable health condition.
Of the 31 COVID-19 infection cases in Vietnam, 16 had been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals. The latest 15 cases of COVID-19 infection, including five Vietnamese and 10 foreigners, are being in isolation for strict monitoring in line with regulations set by the health sector.
