Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Sussex, has taken on more and more public appearances in recent years. Many believe she is gearing up for when she becomes Queen consort, the day her husband Prince Charles becomes King.
Anthony McGrath, celebrity stylist and lecturer at the Fashion Retail Academy in London analysed Camilla’s recent looks for Express.co.uk.
He said: “Since the Duchess of Cornwall’s public persona has changed, so too has her personal style with her fashion choices noticeably shifting up a notch.
“In her 14 years of marriage to Prince Charles, the Duchess has nailed her regal look and always looks undeniably chic.”
However, Anthony said there is one way in which Camilla differs from the Queen, and other royal women.

He went on: “Unlike the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge, she usually steers clear of bright colours, favouring neutral and pastels.
“She has finessed power dressing in such a way that there always seems to be a subtle diplomacy to her signature silhouette.
“There is no denying that she brings her fashion A-game to royal events. She always looks on point, tailored and elegant.
“She is also the queen of hats and is not afraid to make a bold statement.”
Camilla attended a diplomatic event at Buckingham Palace last night.
She looked stunning in a white dress and grand tiara.
Anthony said: “Dressing for evening events is her strong point and seems to come very naturally to her.
“She usually opts for a streamlined opulent evening coat often accessorised with her trademark pearl choker.
“Of course, she is not the only person behind her attire, she frequently relies on a group of trusted designers, such as Fiona Clare, Dior, Anna Valentine and Bruce Oldfield, among many others – one of the perks of being a member of the Royal family!
“There’s no denying it – the future Queen Consort has been nailing it in the fashion stakes recently and is right up there with the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex when it comes to her enviable outfit choices.”
