The scariest month is finally upon us, with Halloween just around the corner.
And one way horror-fans celebrate the occasion is by heading along to Scream Factory and getting scared out of their wits.
The Halloween inspired event has returned to Kirkleatham Museum until the end of October, offering a horror and humour filled night for those who dare to venture along.

The hugely popular event is already attracting great reviews on social media, with many praising the fantastic actors and creepy atmosphere.
‘Scary but so good’
One woman who attended said: “Amazing night. Friendly crew, lovely fire/food area and bar staff.
“Actors were absolutely amazing, the clowns upon arrival/exit didn’t once break character, scary but so so good!”
One parent said: “Great, scary fun! Well done guys, my daughter and her mates absolutely loved it! Just the right combination of screams and laughter.
“The sets were worthy of Universal Studios Halloween Nights and the actors were fab too. Brilliant!”
‘First class actors’
One man said: “Incredible sets, first class actors. I can’t say more for fear of spoiling the surprises but I’d definitely recommend.
“I went through all the emotions from anxiety to fear and laughter. First class.”
Many people who went along to Scream Factory had been in previous years, but for others, it was their first experience.
“Fantastic event”, one man said, “first time going, the clown in the queue was brilliant and I want to say well done to the actor, it was very scary.
“The scenes were brilliant and the other actors were brilliant. The only thing I’d change is more actors throughout the whole event. I’d definitely recommend.”
Another first timer added: “Last night we went to the Scream Factory, this was my first time and I wasn’t sure what to expect but was excited.
“The experience was amazing I have never laughed and screamed and jumped so much. The effort put in by the actors and the sets are phenomenal. I would really recommend going to it this year.”
One woman added: “We had an amazing night. So much fun and brilliant atmosphere. Well done to all of the organisers and actors!”
