Kia Sonet SUV Launch Date in India: Kia Sonet pre-booking to begin on August 20 | – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Kia Motors on Wednesday announced that the pre-booking for the all-new compact SUV, Sonet, will commence on August 20 at 12 am.

The all-new Kia Sonet can be booked for a token amount of Rs 25,000, at any of the dealerships across the country or through the automaker’s website.

The Kia Sonet made its debut in India on August 7 and the price of the compact SUV is yet to be announced.

The Kia Sonet will be offered with 3 engine options. The 2 petrol engines offered are the Smartstream 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine and the powerful 1.0-litre T-GDi turbocharged engine. The only diesel offering is the 1.5-litre CRDi engine. The engines are offered with a choice of five transmissions- 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT, 6-speed AMT and the new Smartestream 6-speed iMT.

The Kia Sonet offers quite luxurious interiors and best-in-class features that are aimed at giving a good in-cabin experience. The SUV is loaded with Kia’s UVO technology with 57 features including the voice assist. The Kia Sonet offers a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system which is paired with Bose 7-speaker system with sub-woofer. Kia is also introducing the all-new LED sound mood lamps which is exclusive to the Sonet.
