MOONDROP has taken this classic form factor to a new level by incorporating several unconventional features.
Adopting the acoustic structure of flathead earbuds, and using a SOC chip for built-in DSP optimization, the Block delivers a more delicate, laid-back and natural timbre than traditional earbuds.
13mm Bass-Enhanced Dynamic Driver Composite Bio-Diaphragm
Block uses a bass-enhanced 13mm dynamic driver. High efficiency N52 magnet and CCAW coil.
Composite biological diaphragm material dome + flexible suspension.
Offers smooth high frequencies and punchy bass.
Tuned with B&K5128 Offers Punchy Bass without Sponge Eartips
In contrast to previous ear simulation devices, the new wideband B&K5128 HATS has a more realistic auricle and ear canal structure and uses finer materials to better simulate the acoustic characteristics of real-life listening.
To overcome the problem of bass leakage, traditional earbuds usually require sponge eartips to enhance bass. However, with the help of the more realistic human ear coupling and the improved material performance of the B&K5128 simulator, Block can deliver punchy enhanced bass without the need for additional sponge eartips, resulting in a more natural and realistic listening experience.
VDSF Natural Timbre Tuning
The VDSF Target Response is based on the coupling changes produced by sound propagation within the human ear (HRTF) and can be regarded as a template for restoring the most natural timbre possible.
MOONDROP not only fine-tunes the sound using advanced measuring equipment, each Block is calibrated during the production process.
Dual-Microphone Beamforming ENC
Using the principle of beamforming, Block’s environmental noise cancellation (ENC) greatly reduces environmental noise during voice calls and minimizes the impact on incoming calls.
Touch Operation Seamless Monaural-Binaural Switching
Block supports touch operation play/pause, mode switching, and other functions.
It supports TWS mirroring, enabling seamless switching between monaural and binaural modes, and adaptation to various usage scenarlos.
